Volunteer Opportunity

Fundraising Events Volunteer (Manchester-based)

LGBT Foundation are currently developing our events programme, and are looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic volunteers to attend events and help maximise our engagement and fundraising! We will need help on a variety of events, such as:  

• Corporate networking, fundraising and volunteering events 
• Large-scale events for the LGBTQ+ community, such as Homobloc and the festive carol service 
• Local and national Pride events 

We also need volunteer support to collect our tins from Manchester’s Gay Village venues once a quarter, plus count and bank our cash.  

Note: whilst we will endeavour to provide events as regularly as possible, this is not a fixed-shift role, and by signing up, you are agreeing to join a pool of volunteers who can sign up for events on an ad-hoc basis.  

We particularly welcome applicants who identify as a person of colour, disabled and/or as a person of faith as they are currently underrepresented in our volunteer team.
