Each year we support over 45,000 LGBTQ+ people with life-saving services. But this isn’t something we can achieve on our own. Our corporate partners help us to open even more doors for LGBTQ+ people and create a more accepting, inclusive world for everyone.
Our volunteering days are a mixture of physical volunteering activities and skill sharing, letting you contribute to our mission and help LGBTQ+ people flourish. From keep Manchester’s Gay Village clean and safe to preparing sexual health resources or sharing expertise, we’ve got a volunteering experience to suit you.

Multiple organisations can book onto each of our standard corporate volunteering days, giving you the opportunity to meet and connect with other businesses and organisations that share the same values.
We organise quarterly days on your behalf that take the stress out of planning; we can adapt activities to suit the different skills or needs of your team; and most importantly, we bring lived experience and expertise to the table for you to shape LGBTQ+ inclusion in your own workplace.
You’ll be volunteering in the heart of the Gay Village and supporting the delivery of our services and programmes, making spaces safer and futures brighter for LGBTQ+ people.
Morning – after introductions to our team and our mission, provide hands-on support packing our sexual health resources and deliver them to venues around the Gay Village.
Lunch Break – Lunch is not provided by LGBT Foundation but we’ll make some great recommendations to try in the local area.
Afternoon – work with our fundraising and marketing team on a hackathon, using your unique business expertise to advise on a strategic problem that the charity is hoping to solve.
