Why Vote?

Your vote really is your voice — it helps decide things that matter to all of us. By voting, you are showing, and telling, people what matters to you and the future you want for yourself, your friends, family, loved ones, neighbours and our community.

Every vote cast has the power to shape policies that affect us all. Let’s ensure all LGBTQ+ communities are seen, heard, counted and represented in the decisions that will shape the UK. Vote with Pride is part of LGBT Foundation’s call for LGBTQ+ people and allies to Refuse to Be Invisible!

How Can You Join In?

1. Sign Up to Vote: If you’re not already registered to vote, we can get you there! It’s super easy— and takes less than five minutes
2. Tell Everyone: Spread the word! Let your friends and family know it’s time to get their Vote With Pride so we can see the love spreading.
3. Take our Voter Engagement Survey: by letting us know if you’re planning to vote, and what’s important to you if so, you’re helping us paint a picture of the needs of LGBTQ+ people that we can use to advocate for LGBTQ+ equality.
4. Learn Stuff: Be in the know about the things that matter to you. Read up on what the candidates are saying and choose the ones who stand up for what matters to you.
5. Save the Date: Circle the day on your calendar when it’s time to vote. Make it a plan with friends—voting is way more fun when we do it together!
