Our Sober Socials provide a relaxed, pressure-free environment for LGBTQIA+ community members to meet new friends and make connections without the presence of alcohol.
There will be music, refreshments, and creative activities to get involved with.

What to Expect:
Arrival & Welcome: There will be a check-in table with optional name tags and pronoun stickers.
Refreshments: You will be greeted with a complimentary free drink upon arrival. The cafe will be serving additional drinks & cakes at regular prices, with vegan and gluten-free options available.

Creative Station: There will be an optional creative station for people to make their own badges and/or pride placards.
General Vibes: There will be music, refreshments, and creative activities to get involved with.
Free Resources: A range of resources will be available for attendees to take away from the event.
Pleasure Packs* will be provided by LGBT Foundation Sexual Health Team.
Harm Reduction Kits** will be provided by LGBT Foundation Recovery Team.
*Free Condoms & Lube.
** Free at home Drug Testing Kits used to screen for harmful contaminants such as Nitazenes and Xylazine.

Date & Time: Doors open at 6pm and ends at 8:30pm.
Location: Lovelocks Coffee Shop, 27 Old Haymarket, Liverpool L1 6ER.
Access: Lovelocks Coffee Shop is wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor level entrance and double doors, or an alternative accessible route around steps*, there are two gender neutral toilets, and one is accessible. The cafe will be serving only drinks & cakes at regular prices, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
*wheelchair users, please be warned the door is quite heavy. There are also steps on the pavement, but in the middle there is a level approach suitable for wheelchairs.
