Are you passionate about shaping impactful campaigns and helping choose the right language, images, and messages? Thrive in discussions about inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment? Ready to use your voice to shape the future of LGBTQ+ awareness campaigns?

We’re looking for 20 people to join LGBT Foundation’s Campaign Lab on May 15th, 6-9 PM at the LGBT Foundation’s centre in Manchester, right down the road from the Gay Village.

Our first edition celebrates 30 years of our iconic Condoms and Lube distribution scheme and the impact it has had on public health in Manchester. We’re also revelling in our approach to LGBTQ+ centred way of promoting safer sex and a queer and open way of talking about sex and relationships.

But we need YOUR expertise and perspective to make it truly inclusive and powerful! Your opinions matter! We’re using the Ketso workshop model to ensure everyone has a say and contributes their ideas.

  • Shape our next big campaign!
  • Discuss LGBTQ+ sex, pleasure, body confidence, relationships, and more!
  • Help choose the right language, images, messages, tone and feel of the campaign!
  • Collaborate on slogans, taglines, and more!
  • Free food and refreshments
  • A Love2Shop Voucher as a massive thank you from us to you! (value TBC)

At our Campaign Lab, we want honest opinions! Is our language too much or not enough? Are the images too raunchy or not raunchy enough? Help us find a way of talking about sex, relationships, and queer bodies that’s comfortable and liberating for everyone.

  • Queer people (all genders and identities are welcome)
  • LGBTQ+ advocates
  • Individuals comfortable discussing sex, pleasure, and relationships
  • Those passionate about inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment
  • Advocates for safer sex education and empowerment.

Applications close one week before the event. We will be looking for a group of people who represent our community in the widest possible manner. As such we will contact you before the date to confirm whether or not we will be inviting you to take part
