Community Photoshoot: Open Call for LGBTQ+ Men

LGBT Foundation is seeking LGBTQ+ men to front a national campaign — and we want you to be part of it.

Too often, men are told to hide their emotions and fit into narrow ideas of masculinity. This campaign is about challenging those pressures, celebrating diversity, and showcasing the many ways of being a man today. Through powerful photography, national billboards, social media and personal stories, we’ll highlight:

• Trans men, gay and bisexual men, men of colour, disabled men, non-binary people and others whose voices are too often pushed to the margins.
• The importance of men supporting each other, building stronger communities, and acting as allies.
• Healthier, more inclusive models of masculinity that validate all experiences and presentations.
• The issues that LGBTQ+ men face in 2025

We want LGBTQ+ men from all walks of life to step forward and represent the campaign, which will take place with billboards up and down the country and online through social media, reaching millions of people. You don’t need modelling experience – just openness and a willingness to be visible.

We especially welcome expressions of interest from:

• Trans men
• Men of colour
• Disabled men
• Older men
• Non-binary people who identify as a man some or all of the time
• Bisexual and pansexual men
• Men whose identities, styles, or experiences are underrepresented
  

What’s Involved

• Take part in a professional shoot, creating bold, striking images.
• Share your story or reflections to accompany campaign visuals.
• Your image and/or story will feature across LGBT Foundation’s national campaign materials — online, in print, on billboards and at events.
• You’ll be front and centre of an LGBTQ+ / gender-based campaign curated by the leading LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing charity.
