We involve student and qualified speech and language therapists as well as former service users in our service delivery. There are two volunteering roles, both of which play an important role in supporting service users to explore voice and communication change in a safe space.
You will help service users to develop a voice and communication style that is authentic to them and congruent with their sense of self. The Voice and Communication Therapy Volunteer role is open to student and qualified speech and language therapists only. The Self-Help Group Facilitator role is only open to Indigo Gender Service service users who have completed their voice therapy with us.
