With spring in the air thoughts turn to cleaning and we looking for volunteers to take part in a new project to clean up Manchester’s Gay Village.
A historic part of the city’s community the Village it serves as a community and social space for LGBT Mancunians and visitors from across the globe. However, due to the large amount of people visiting The Gay Village each week, it can get a bit untidy.
The scheme’s Village Clean Up Squad will spend 4 hours a week Mondays and Fridays tidying up the Village to make it an area our communities can be proud of. Volunteers for the scheme will have all travel expenses covered, food provided and an invite to our Village Clean Up Squad party in June!
Applications are now open for Volunteers and Volunteer Team Leaders. We are looking for individuals from a range of backgrounds who share a passion for teamwork and the LGBT Community. You can find out more details about each role from the downloads below.
