Bi People: WE WANT YOU
Published: 16 September 2019 Tags: By Joe Nellist
Bi Visibility is fast approaching on Monday 23 September. To celebrate this important date in the LGBT calendar, LGBT Foundation is looking for bi people to tell their stories in our online campaign to mark the day.
We’re looking for bi people with different experiences, identities and backgrounds: including bi people who are trans, who are people of colour, who are older, who are disabled and neurodivergent, who are seeking asylum or have no recourse to public funds, bi people of all faiths and backgrounds, and gender presentations and identities.
In no more than 500 words, tell us your story - about your coming-out, your communities, your families, your highs and lows, your hobbies and passions, your visibility or your invisibility, your every-day mundane, your story, your life. It would be great if you could also send us a couple of photos of yourself to go alongside your story.
We will be publishing the stories on our social media pages on Bi Visibility Day. To submit your story, please email [email protected] by Sunday 22 September.
**We will not accept or respond to stories that contain discriminatory language or opinions towards other identities or groups**
