WoC Shine: January Meet-In

17th January 2019, Manchester

Event Full Details:

Welcome in the New Year with new faces and friends! WoC (Women of Colour) Shine are starting off 2019 with regular meet-ins at the LGBT Foundation from 6.30pm-8pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

After the rush of the holiday period, January will be a quiet meet-in to get to know each other, and the topic of Self Confidence to start us off.

Who/What is WoC Shine?
WoC Shine is a group run by and for lesbian and bi women and non-binary people of colour. WoC Shine provides a safe space for women to come together, meet new people, build friendships, and discuss issues that are important to you.

Held at the LGBT Foundation, 3rd Thursday of the month, each month will have a topic and an activity – something a little different each month!

Who is this for?
If you identify as an LBT+ woman or non-binary person of colour – this is for you!

This event is for women of colour who identify as lesbian, bisexual, queer or questioning, all or part of the time, including trans women, older women, disabled/neurodivergent women, women of all faiths and backgrounds, non-binary/gender fluid people and transfeminine people.

This meet-in is FREE to attend, and is at:
LGBT Foundation
5 Richmond Street
M1 3HF
Nearest tram stop: Piccadilly Gardens or Manchester Piccadilly Station.
Coming on your own? This is a new regular group and it’s a perfect time to come along! We are expecting lots of new faces as it’s a new year.
We start off each session with introductions and can organise for someone to meet you. Just drop us a line if that’s something you would like/need.
