The Times Of Your Life

4th August 2019, Manchester

Event Full Details:

Sunday 4th August, 2-6pm.

Installation for and by LGBT+ women*.

LGBT Foundation Women’s Programme will be taking over our third floor for a special event:

‘The Times of Your Life’

This installation is all about our past, present and future. A unique opportunity to see the history and wishes of LGBT+ women, upfront and first hand.

We’ll be covering the walls, and invite all LGBT+ women to come along and be part of the day.

Do you remember your first kiss? When did you move to Manchester? Move house? Get a pet? First girlfriend? First boyfriend? First partner? Whatever the milestone, we want you to come along and write on our walls.

There will also be a private space for you to record, or write, a letter to your 12 year old self. What would you tell them?

Before you go, don’t forget to leave a message on a tag for the future generations of LGBT+ women. Say it in a sentence, or two, your wish or ask. It’s up to you!

Drop in for a cuppa and some cake, make your mark and see our histories come together.
