About The Project:
The Trans Love Quilt is a community project started by artist Ben Saunders Art intended to inspire messages of love and support for the transgender community!
Inspired by the AIDS Memorial Quilt, the Trans Love Quilt aims to inspire messages of love, support and celebration for the transgender community, something we all need even more in the current climate.
The quilt is made up of patches created by members of the community and allies from around the UK and will soon be expanding to accept worldwide additions too via post! The patches are being sewn together to create a giant display quilt, which will later also be shown at LGBTQ+ exhibitions and events in the UK.
