LGBT Foundation: the space for all LGBTQ+ women →
A PLACE FOR LGBTQ+ WOMEN TO FLOURISH If you’re an LGBTQ+ woman, we want to give you a chance to learn something new, try something different, and make new connections […]
prideinageing@lgbt.foundation
Join us for our new social group for LGBTQ+ people aged over 50 which is being run by LGBT Foundation’s Pride in Ageing programme. In May we will be meeting at Liverpool Central Library to hear more about a new intergenerational photo project being launched with LGBTQ+ communities in Liverpool by photographer Ming de Nasty. Ming will tell us more about their previous projects documenting older LGBTQ+ lives in Shropshire, and their new portrait project in Liverpool which will be a collaboration with Open Eye Gallery and Homotopia.
As part of this session we invite you to bring along a photo which represents LGBTQ+ joy to you. This can be a photo of yourself, a photo you’ve taken of others or your favourite image by other photographers. Feel free to bring in a copy or show us on your phone/tablet if you have one – and don’t worry if you can’t find one, this part of the session is optional!
As always the session will include tea, coffee and cake.
