It feels like there is less and less opportunity for queer women to meet other queer women.
And, let's face it, lockdown hasn't helped! Even before Covid, bars and clubs were not everyone's scene and even if they were, they could still feel prohibitive if you don't know anyone or you don't know where to go.
So, surely, this is a perfect time to head to the dating App world to meet new folk?
Well, you'd think! However a lot of the women who we've spoken to have not had success in this area, some gave up very quickly, some hung on till the lights came up at the end of the night and still went home alone.
So, are we doing something wrong? Is there a trick that we're missing to accelerate our search for the 'one' or 'ones'?
We don't have the answers, but we wanted to find out more, so we have asked Shana Sumers, Head of Community at HER App, to join us for a live Q&A from America on June 8 at 6.00pm.
It's going to be a lovely informal get together where we can chat about our experiences and ask Shana all the things we've always wanted to know.
Come and join us and if you'd like you can send us your questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org
The places for this event will be limited, and are available ONLY from Eventbrite.
