Singer songwriter Claire Mooney's first album 'Rocking the Boat' was released on Big World/ Playtime Records (the label that discovered the Inspiral Carpets) 25 years ago and she has released 7 albums in the intervening years and had worldwide airplay. She has been described as 'one of the strongest political writers of today' (Rock n Reel) and 'a real talent' (NME). She is a patron of Manchester Pride and LGBT Youth North West as well as being a North of England rep for the Musicians Union.
