Event Full Details: FREE monthly skills workshops for lesbian and bisexual women* are back and we're kicking off with Assertiveness!
Led by Allanah from Workshops for Women, this two-hour taster session on assertiveness will help you understand
- what assertiveness is
- why it's an important tool for wellbeing
- more about the ways you communicate now and how to build assertive behaviour.
During this workshop, there will be a particular focus on barriers to women, in particular LGBTQ women, being assertive and how we can challenge those to get the life we want.
Workshops for Women is an organisation that aims to encourage people to learn new skills and develop new ways of being that optimise wellbeing and promote success in every aspect of their lives from work to relationships to the way they view themselves. They want to enable positive growth in people and, by doing so, make them happier and more able to reach their full potential.
Before the workshop, the room will be open from 1:30pm if you want to come along, grab a brew and have a chat with each other before the workshop starts.
Places are limited so please book your free ticket in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have any accessibility requirements to support your involvement in the workshop, please let Claudia know by 17th April
*Our services for women are open to anyone who self-identifies as a woman some or all of the time and is lesbian, bisexual or questioning their sexual orientation. This includes non-binary or gender-fluid people who want to access a women's space.
