Experiences of LGBTphobic hate crime

We want to bring to light the impact that hate crime has on individuals and the community at large. You can also hear personal accounts from real people affected by hate crime, who may not have even realised it at the time and the reasons they felt unable to report. We bring you these stories in the hope that they will empower others to come forward and report and prevent these crimes from happening. We need to send the message that this hate will not be tolerated anymore.

LGBT Foundation is a Third Party Hate Crime Reporting Centre. This means that you can report the hate crime you experienced to us, anonymously if you wish. You can call our helpline on 0345 3 30 30 30 or email us at [email protected].

If you are interested in contributing to this piece of work, or for more information, please email our community safety team at [email protected].
