Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy’s importance in the emerging health architecture is clear. It is therefore a significant concern for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities, and LGBT service providers, that existing JSNAs often do not address LGBT issues, needs and experiences of healthcare in any meaningful way.

LGBT Foundation produced the below document in 2012 which makes the case for the importance of the LGBT evidence, and introduces strategic level health professionals to some of the key health issues facing the LGBT communities.
