Lesbian growing pains?
Publish Date: 17/12/2008
A 3rd year student at Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking help and support from lesbian and bisexual women around her final year project.
Trudy Combs is a qualified counsellor and her project is looking at the experiences of lesbians and bisexual women during adolesence, with a high focus on bullying in particular.
Trudy is looking for women willing to talk about their adolesence in the late 80's, 90's and noughties, to interview and give their experiences.
She says: 'I am looking at bullying and the possible effects on socialisation (etc) during these formative years. Everything would be anonymous and you would have the right to withdraw at any point in the process. All those taking part will have access to the final piece of work electronically."
The interviews would be held at the convenience of those taking part at the Universities Gaskell building, or one of the other MMU campus buildings.
