Housing, Inequality and Ageing

Everybody wants to be able to be safe and well in decent housing in inclusive neighbourhoods.
Today the Equalities Board releases our second Equalities and Ageing Digest on housing and inequality, and how people in marginalised communities are disproportionately affected by poor housing, insecure tenure, homelessness and inaccessibility. It's a grim picture, but the briefing also acknowledges the variety of solutions and responses by marginalised communities developing their own housing, and service providers incorporating inclusive approaches within mainstream housing schemes.
The briefing is available in two versions: the longer version has web links for further information, and there is a simpler summary for easier reading and sharing. Both can be downloaded here.
