Upcoming National LGB&T Partnership Events

The National LGB& T partnership is an England wide group of LGB&T voluntary and community organisations who are committed to reducing health inequalities and challenging homophobia, biphobia and transphobia within public service.
They are hosting upcoming events in London and Manchester which will celebrate best practice currently provided to meet these needs.
They are inviting you to join them at one of their two upcoming events:
Manchester – Friday 15th June, 1-5pm
Opened by the Government Equalities Office speaking on how women's health features on their agenda, followed by Dr Elizabeth Peel presenting her latest research on the importance of physical health and her involvement in the RaRE study with PACE on problems with alcohol in lesbian and bisexual women.
Workshops will be provided by the Lesbian Community Project. Plenary speakers include the The LGF speaking on their successful national cervical screening campaign ' Are You Ready For Your Screen Test?'.

London – Friday 22nd June, 1-5pm
The event will be opened by the Government Equalities Office on how women's health features on their agenda, followed by Dr Catherine Meads presenting her latest research on lesbian and bisexual women's health inequalities.
Workshops will be provided by the PACE on their Women's Health Project and another by Age UK on their Opening Doors project. Plenary speakers include the The LGF speaking on their successful national cervical screening campaign ' Are You Ready For Your Screen Test?'.
