The Lesbian & Gay Foundation & Three Circles Fostering  are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of  a new resource for foster carers and those who support them that addresses some of the key concerns that will help young lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people live happier and healthier lives.

The content has been devised by LGBT care leavers themselves and there will be a special event to provide an opportunity to hear from care leavers and discuss ways in which you or your organisation can help further support LGBT young people.

The event is a culmination of a year long project involving LGBT care leavers as part of The LGF’s Community Leaders programme and it is hoped that both professionals involved in supporting children in care from local authorities across the Northwest, and those interested in finding out more about how to support LGBT young people in care will find the event of interest.
