Sarah & Tracey
Sarah & Tracey, from Preston and Blackpool, have been together 6 ½ years, and after coming out to their families just 3 years ago, they decided to celebrate by hosting a civil partnership with close friends and family.
And when to have it? IDAHO of course!
International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) is marked every year around the world since 2005 and calls for respect for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGB&T) people worldwide. It marks the date that homosexuality was removed from the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organisation on May 17th 1992
17th May also marked Tracey’s 50th birthday and they celebrated in style with rainbow tea lights and a flag, provided by The LGF, before jetting off to Tenerife on their honeymoon.
