NEW Wellbeing Workshop: ‘From distress to de-stress’

Are you feeling stressed all the time? Do you want to find out how you can relax and distress? Then we can help!

We’re running a FREE wellbeing workshop, ‘From distress to de-stress’ on Friday 6th March, 12.30-1.30pm here at The Lesbian & Gay Foundation’s community resource centre, 5 Richmond Street, Manchester, M1 3HF.

There is no need to book and please feel free to bring your lunch along. We will try to make it as relaxed, informal & fun as possible! If you attend the workshop then you will receive a self help guide and a CD that may be useful to continue on practising what you have learnt at the workshop.

The workshop will cover:
• How stress affects you and your body
• How to relax your body 

The workshop on Friday 6th is a pilot wellbeing workshop and we are hoping that if this is successful and there is a demand for further workshops then we will be able to put on a regular series of wellbeing workshops covering topics such as improving your mood, how to improve your sleep and how to relax your mind.

The workshop is being run in partnership with the Public Mental Health Team from Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust.
