More time for you to get tested from January!

Publish Date: 24/12/2014

We're pleased to announce an extra hour each week for rapid HIV testing, plus we are making a slight adjustment to our Monday clinic times.

The following times and dates are correct at time of publishing this article. You can always get the most up to date information about all of our testing services by visiting our 'For men' section.

Our rapid HIV testing clinic is runs  every Wednesday from 12pm-3pm*  at The LGF. This clinic tests just for HIV, and provides results whilst you wait (within 20-30 minutes).

There’s also the option of undertaking a traditional blood-test, which will test for other blood bourne viruses. No appointment is necessary, but due to the popularity of this service, a limited number of spaces are available.

* Last appointment time is 2.30pm so please make sure to arrive early (from 11.30am onwards).  During exceptionally busy times, we may need to suggest alternative services if all the places have been filled.

The LGF outreach clinic runs  most Mondays from 3pm until 5pm , either at Basement Sauna* or the LGF’s Community Resource Centre in central Manchester.

The Outreach Clinic offers the chance to get a full sexual health check up, with results usually within 1-2 weeks. Testing includes: Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, HIV and Hepatitis B. Current dates are in the calendar below. No appointment necessary.

* You do not have to be a paying customer to access the clinic in saunas. Simply inform staff that you are there for the LGF Outreach Clinic.
