LGBT Question Time 2014: We want your questions!

Publish Date: 05/02/2014

As part of LGBT History Month, the LGB&T community are invited to ask a panel of experts, including The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (The LGF), questions for this year’s LGBT Question Time 2014.

This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and to get involved with issues that matter to you – maybe you have concerns about something happening in your community? Or you feel that certain issues need to be made more visible? Whatever you’re query or question – we want to hear from you!

The LGF wish to ensure that the needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGB&T) community are heard and that any current issues are recognised and addressed by organisations across the North West.

Manchester City Council is hosting the second annual LGBT Question Time event in partnership with organisations and service providers from across Manchester.

Anyone from the community is welcome to attend and propose specific questions they may want answering from elected members, service providers, LGB&T groups and organisations; including The LGF, Manchester City Council, NHS Manchester, Police and Crime Commissioner and LGBT Youth North West.

Outcomes from this discussion with the LGB&T community feed into the Council’s business planning to help improve the way they deliver and target their services and policy development.

The event is free and takes place on Sunday 23 February from 12–2pm (with breakfast refreshments from 11.30am) at the Banqueting Room in Manchester Town Hall, Albert Square, Manchester, M60 2LA.

Please contact Grahame Robertson by email: if you would like to attend or submit a question.

Please also highlight if you have any specific access or dietary requirements. The deadline for confirmations and questions is 5pm on Thursday 20 February 2014.
