Competition: Pam Ann Loves Equal Marriage

Publish Date: 08/02/2013

Comedienne Pam Ann has spoken out in support of our Love Equal Marriage Campaign and is offering our supporters the chance to win two tickets to her March show in Manchester!

Pam Ann Loves Equal Marriage

Glamorous, hilarious and outrageous Pucci-clad Melbourne born Pam Ann is the alter-ego of Australian comedienne, creator, writer and producer Caroline Reid whose portrayal of the gutsy curvaceous air-hostess is unique in the world of comedy.

Outspoken Pam Ann is supporting out Love Equal Marriage campaign commenting; "For f**ks sake it's 2013 I can't believe we are still talking about same sex marriage and equality.

"For the people trying to prevent same sex marriage and equality are the same people tuning into TV shows like 'The Bachelor' where two people can marry for the price of fame then split up 1hour later.

“What an injustice and slap in the face to the LGB&T community who have some of the most loving wonderful same sex relationships some for over 20 - 50 years WHY don't they have the same rights as everyone else.

"Come on what is the big f**king deal who we love, f**k and want to be with? COME ON this conversation is so dated and these haters will look so ignorant and vile in a couple of years.

"Love PAM ANN X"

Pam Ann win

We are in receipt of two tickets to Pam Ann’s show on Friday 1st March 2013 at 8pm, at Manchester’s Opera House. We’re also throwing in one of our fabulous Love Equal Marriage t-shirts!

In her show Pam Ann takes passengers on a raucous journey from check-in to security to boarding to, hopefully, landing. Along the way, she pokes fun at air travel, the quirks of some of the biggest international airlines and some of the stereotypes commonly held about flight attendants everywhere. Her genius is in mixing camp, culture, humor, fabulousness and a bit of slapstick into an outrageous in-flight cocktail that the likes of Elton John has hired for his own private jet (but Pam won’t tell us if he was a good passenger or not!).

So how do you win this fab prize? Well Pam Ann has given us her quote in support of equal marriage – so we want yours! Simply click here to leave your message of support, remember to leave your email address, and the best one will win!

The competition runs from now until Sunday 24th February 2013 at midnight.

Straight, Bi or Gay. Marriage should celebrate the love of two people whether they are a male/female couple or male/male, female/female. Wouldn't it also be fantastic if we could live in a world were only the word marriage is used. Without 'gay' etc in front of it.

Equality should mean Equality, no half measures otherwise it is simply meaningless and hollow. The argument that marriage has always been between a man and a woman is so antiquated, things change, it\'s called progress. And finally heterosexuals are doing a fine job of making a mockery of the institution of marriage all on their own, what they need is a few decent same sex couples to show them how it should be done!
