Publish Date: 16/08/2013
Need a space to chill during Pride?
Open to all, our Community Resource Centre will have staff on hand to tell you more about the fantastic array of services and support offered by The Lesbian & Gay Foundation, together with our amazing and exciting new art exhibition 'Can You Hear Me?' highlighting the experiences of lesbian and bisexual women with mental health issues.
So come along, recharge your batteries, there will be water, tea and coffee as well fresh fruit, cake and juice kindly donated by The Cooperative’s RESPECT Network - and just escape from the madding crowd for a breather.
We're also giving away some fabulous goody bags packed full of information and resources including ‘Operation Big Night Out’ – a guide to staying safe over the Big Weekend, as well as freebies!
So why not come down, sit on our comfy sofas and watch our Pride extravagansa video!
The Lesbian & Gay Foundation is situated on Richmond Street, directly behind Canal Street, within the Pride ticketed area. Our doors will be open from 12 - 7pm on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August and from 12 - 5pm on Monday 26th August but entry may be restricted at very busy periods.
