We are pleased to announce that Barclays will be supporting IDAHO on 17th May by taking part in the LGF's 'Flying the Flag' initiative.
Barclays will be flying the flag in 25 branches across the UK including Manchester, Liverpool, Belfast, Edinburgh and their global headquarters in Canary Wharf.
David Steer, Regional Director for Barclays UK branch network in the North West region says “Barclays is proud to show our support for IDAHO. Barclays recognises the diversity of our customers and colleagues and the importance of being an inclusive organisation. Displaying the rainbow flag in a number of our branches, larger offices and our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, is a symbolic and visually important representation of support for the LGBT community”.
The LGF’s ‘Flying the Flag’ initiative, in partnership with Gaydio, has seen over 300 flags sent to over 250 locations across the UK. Organisations taking part include; Manchester Airport, The University of Liverpool, Transport for Greater Manchester, Trafford Council, UCLAN, UNISON, Greater Manchester Police and The Co-operative.
