The next issue of your magazine for life is here!

Our end-of-year issue is something of a Coronation Street special. As the soap reaches it's 50th anniversary, we've gone behind the scenes and spoken to creator Tony Warren, Executive Producer Phil Collinson, Sophia and Sian, Antony Cotton, The Websters and Roy and Hayley to ask what makes Coronation Street the queerest and best show on television.

This issue also marks World AIDS Day, and we carry comprehensive listings of events around the North West, not to mention valuable sexual health information. Look out for the launch of the LGF's new campaign 'Get Tested' - the ad is on the back page of this issue.

This edition of outnorthwest also carries a 24 page supplement charting the first ten years of The Lesbian & Gay Foundation; the achievements of the organisation, coupled with LGB&T news from the last ten years, it's a fascinating snapshot of queer life in the North West from 2000 - 2010. We hope you enjoy it.

With all your usual lifestyle, news, scene and health information, it’s a packed edition, which I hope you’ll enjoy. We'll see you again on January 26th 2011!

Don't forget, outnorthwest is on Facebook, so why not join the group and get involved in the production of the magazine?  You can also follow us on Twitter (@outnorthwest).

Finally we would like to thank you for your continued and enthusiastic support! We can't do it without you.
