Festive season helpline opening hours
We know that Christmas and New Year can be a difficult time so our dedicated staff and volunteers will be providing a Helpline service throughout the festive season, including on Christmas Day. Our Helpline will be open on 0345 3 30 30 30 at the following times:
Thursday 24th December (Christmas Eve) 10am-10pm
Friday 25th December (Christmas Day) 11am-7pm
Saturday 26th December (Boxing Day) 11am-7pm
Sunday 27th December 11am-7pm
Monday 28th December 11am-7pm
Tuesday 29th December 10am-10pm
Wednesday 30th December 10am-10pm
Thursday 31st December (New Year's Eve) 10am-8pm
Friday 1st January (New Year's Day) 11am-7pm
Saturday 2nd January 11am-7pm
The service is being run remotely by volunteers so it may take you a little longer than usual to get through. We will also be unable to respond to voicemails over the festive season so if you need to speak to someone please call back.
We all need information and support from a friend in the know and LGBT Foundation's Helpline Service provides thousands of hours of advice and support to thousands of people every year.

The Helpline has been running for over 35 years, and is staffed by a team of dedicated staff and volunteer operators, all of whom receive extensive training and support.
Call us on 0345 3 30 30 30, 10am until 10pm Monday to Friday, and 10am until 6pm Saturday. Outside of these hours please go to our website lgbt.foundation/our-services for further information and support or you can email us.

Is my call or email confidential?
Yes. The helpline abides by and adheres to the Helplines Partnership Quality Standards.
Operators have regular supervision and your call or email may be discussed there. Confidentiality will be broken if you disclose intent of harming yourself or others (including children) or if you disclose intent of committing a serious criminal offence.
