LGBT Foundation's Women's Programme aims to support and empower all lesbian and bisexual women* to improve their health and wellbeing, increase their skills, knowledge and confidence, and reducing their feelings of isolation.
*Our services for women are open to anyone who self-identifies as a woman, some or all of the time, and identifies as lesbian, bisexual or questioning their sexual orientation. This includes non-binary or gender-fluid people who want to access a women's space. We try to make our services welcoming and accessible to all; if you have any specific access requirements please let us know and we'll try to help.
Our latest campaign for lesbian and bisexual women is on abuse and includes a resource: 'What is abuse?', a social media campaign to start discussions using the hashtag #LBQWomensVoices and an event 'Lesbian and Bisexual Women & Violence, Abuse and Coercive Control'. You can follow the links for more information or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to get involved.
The Women's Programme has a monthly e-bulletin which aims to keep you up to date with what is happening across Greater Manchester for lesbian and bisexual women, including our monthly workshops, campaigns, and other local social, support an sports groups.
