BHP - Mental Health Service Cost Benefit Analysis

This report, by New Economy Manchester, provides a summary of the findings from cost benefit analysis (CBA) undertaken on the Mental Health Service run by Greater Manchester’s The Lesbian & Gay Foundation. It is intended to provide evidence as to the cost effectiveness of the Service and the potential for scaling up the Service’s activities.

Building Health Partnerships (BHP) is a national programme kindly funded by NHS England to improve health outcomes, through supporting the development of partnerships between Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
In Greater Manchester (GM), the project centred on the health inequalities faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGB&T) people, exploring the challenges encountered. We worked in partnership to identify solutions and reduce barriers for LGB&T people accessing healthcare services.
