Trans Wellbeing Group - DANCE FIT WITH KAY

Being Trans - Where our wellbeing comes first.

Welcome to our free weekly wellbeing group for trans and non-binary people.

This week we will be joined by the lovely Kay who will lead us in a full body dance workout (30-60 min).
So bring your positive energy and let's unite and embrace each other through movement!
You may also want to bring:
  • Water bottle (water fountain & cups also accessible at the centre)
  • Comfy trainers
  • Light, comfortable clothes to dance and stretch in
  • High heels (Completely optional - this is not an expectation.)

We are a trans-led team who offer a safe, relaxed non-judgmental space for trans & non-binary people, at all stages in our journeys, to come together and share advice/tips on how to achieve a balanced lifestyle that leads to a happier, healthier and less stressful life. We will do group/individual activities to enrich our lifestyles and state of wellbeing.

This group is in its early stages, so we need your input to make sure to create an environment that caters for all our different lifestyles and needs. For the first month we will be trying out different activities to see what works, and implementing your requests/suggestions.

Activities we wish to try - Yoga, Meditation, Dance, Gardening, Walking, Workouts, Drawing/painting, Sculpting, scrapbooking, group arts and crafts, nutritional advice, fitness classes, media/book discussion (non-political), journaling, gratitude lists, music therapy, performance, improv, self-care tips and assisted help on your physical appearance… and whatever you think is missing from this list and would like to see.

Do you have skills, could you lead activities? What can you bring to this group? We need your input.

In this space we ask for no political/serious matters and difficult media discourse - please leave these at the door upon entering. This is a group for wellbeing. Other groups provide space for more serious issues, and we can happily direct you to these.
