TransMCR is back for its third year and we want to invite you to welcome in 2018 with us! Whether this is your third year or your first event with us, you transitioned years ago or you're just coming out, binary or non-binary, come along!

Programme:
>> 12-1pm - Doors & welcome discussion - come and have a chat about what’s going on for trans people in the news, or just meet some new people! (Community Cafe, Meeting Room, 2nd Floor)
>> 12:30pm-1:30pm - Statement of Principle Consultation - come and have your say, and tell us what you would expect from a Gender Identity Service (Community Café, Meeting Room, 2nd Floor)
>> 1-2pm - Peer-supported voice coaching workshop for trans people, with Matilda Simon (Conference Room, 2nd Floor)
>> 2-3pm - New Year, New Name! - Laura Tucker, a solicitor from Irwin Mitchell LLP, will be running a talk and Q&A session on how to change your name and the legal processes involved. (Group Room, 2nd Floor)
>> 2:30-4:30pm - Screen-Printing - We will have a screen-printing workshop for attendees, regardless of experience. Come along and give it a go! (Conference Room, 2nd Floor)
>> 4-5:30pm - Diversity: What does it mean to you? - Come and have a chilled discussion about what diversity means and how it is part of you. (Group Room, 2nd Floor)

As ever, TransMCR is designed to be a safe and supportive environment for trans people to meet other trans people, to learn about issues concerning them, and to develop new skills. The event is completely free and family, partners and trans allies are welcome!
